A Life Long Calling

In 2000 I realised what I really wanted to do something about AIDS in Africa . I thought about it a reasoned with myself and convinced myself it was a crazy idea. There was no logical reason why I had any chance at doing anything about it.

I was living in Los Angeles in 2001, when I recovered, through a particular experience that this was my burning, overwhelming, heart felt compassion. I had pushed aside as a ridiculous idea for a year but now I knew this was my only possibility. This was August 2001. I decided to make this my only life goal immediately, and then set about achieving it.

I landed in Ethiopia , having totally quit living in the USA a few weeks later in October 2001. It was fortunate that this was my 60th birthday time so I had two pre-birthday/leaving parties in Topanga, Los Angeles, three more parties in London and other parts of England with family and friends on my way through. And finally in Ethiopia another, as my birthday arrived again, their calendar being 10 days behind!

In reality this Africa location is very different than what I wanted/expected in terms of suitable people with AIDS, as different as I could imagine. Firstly the amount of sexually transmitted diseases, gonorrhoea, syphilis, and the high levels of use of commercial sex workers, plus the serious endemic diseases of tuberculosis, malaria, typhoid etc made my job much more complicated. Add to this extreme poverty, and its natural consequence, starvation and too little to eat, and you get apparently devitalized, complicated cases, the greatest possible challenge before you even introduce AIDS! Add to this the superstition and stigma and gross ignorance about AIDS and its even more complicated.

I started work in one clinic in a catchments area of 80,000 extremely poor people and statistically 10,000 were HIV infected, but after six weeks of intensive striving I only had 15 people with HIV and only two or three returned. I wasted those six weeks in blind frustration. I finally understood that because I was working with local people, and because no one could dare be seen going to an AIDS clinic, and because I was white, because I was taking photographs, it soon went around the area that I was the AIDS doctor and so no one could be seen, at this busy clinic, going through my door! People dare not reveal their HIV status as they could often get thrown out of their home, job, rejected by family, friends etc and have no money and literally starve to death. My first real AIDS lesson!

Fortunately, my camera software broke and the word got outside the area. A woman came who dreamed the day before she was about to be cured of AIDS, and I helped her get well in days, and she told everyone in her extensive AIDS network. So from then on I had people with AIDS who came back and got well. I tried various homeopathic strategies, but found that the time worn, and trusted individual homeopathy had remarkable results, brilliant in fact and people got well often within a few weeks, and were well many months later.

I realised that homeopathy could really help people with AIDS get well, something I personally had not known inside me before. Just before Christmas 2001 these results started coming in, but two weeks before I wrote an e-mail saying it was all over, I had tried, given it my best shot, but I was out of money. But then the last minute before Christmas 2001, the presents rolled in, the results were stunning. Two days before I left for England I changed my mind. I was not giving up; I was still going for gold.

Over Christmas it dawned on me that I just did not have the money for a complex plan, the individual homeopathy that I had had great success with.

So I decided to find the one remedy that could help everybody. Theoretically this was a well-known idea in homeopathy but no one had found it for AIDS. I found a way to make the remedy after a lot of thought, in a fairly obvious way. I made the totality picture of AIDS (spiritually, psychologically, physically) and imprinted it into water.

I explained my new idea to each patient and gave them the choice, to continue as before or try something new. (Its fortunate that homeopathy is inherently safe and free of side effects). People tried it and soon the people with AIDS started coming back in to report. Five people returned on one day and ALL were better. STUNNING, UNBELIVABLE, HISTORY WAS BEING MADE. More also came to be treated. This in itself was feedback.

Relatively healthy people of all ages improved in two weeks. People also got off their beds and started the improving. Slowly it became clear. Everyone improved almost without exception.

The clinical results became more and more solid as my money ran out again, and I was down to my last $100 In April 2002. Then, at this last minute, another friend gave me some more money, enough to continue with my team. And to do some preliminary blood tests.

These took two months and were very positive showing a repairing immune system.

I then entered the process of encouraging people to try the remedy themselves and letting people at the grass roots know about it.
